The Future of San Diego

Today on the Southern California Real Estate Report we look at two projects and ascertain the importance of these developments for San Diego and the future of our City.

The first project we talk about is the NAVWAR site. The Navy has planned a high-density commercial, residential and transportation center. The offer of a San Diego Grand Central Station is alluring but the idea of a high density, high-rise building is less than favorable.

The other project is The Sports Arena. The project offers the possibility of a new stadium as well as more housing and commercial space.

We ask the question, what is the future of San Diego? What does San Diego need from development, 10 years, 20 years, 30 years and beyond?
